Zelfira Tregulova, has been the curator and Director of the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow since 2015. The Tretyakov Gallery (est. 1856) is the largest in Moscow and showcases Russian fine art from the 11th – early 20th C. There is also a sister gallery, New Tretyakov, housing modern art from 20th C. to the present. Since 2013, Tregulova worked as director of the Rosizo State Museum and Exhibition Center in Moscow, through which she organized projects in Moscow and Russia, as well as a number of exhibitions abroad, including at Tate Modern in London. She previously served as Deputy Director General for Exhibitions and International Relations at the Moscow Kremlin Museum. She was co-curator of the “RUSSIA!” exhibition at the Guggenheim in 2005.
