The Ekiti Amotekun Corps has arrested 35-year-old Musa Abdullahi, suspected to be a supplier of food and other courier services to bandits.
Musa, in a statement made available to journalists by Head, Communications Department of the Corps, Adeleye Abiodun, was arrested when the operatives combed the forest of lse-Ekiti at Oritan Forest Reserve during a patrol.
During interrogation, Abdullahi, a resident of Shasha in Akure, Ondo State, confessed to the crime, claiming that he was in the forest reserve as food supplier to the suspected Fulani/Bororo bandits inhabiting the area.
The suspect and exhibits recovered from him at the scene of the incident have been handed over to the Nigeria Police Ise-Orun Division, lse-Ekiti for further investigation.
