Footage shows the moment a building in a southern suburb of Beirut was hit by an Israeli strike. Thick plumes of smoke billowed over the Chiyah neighbourhood as crowds gathered to inspect the damage. The conflict between Israel and Hezbollah, ignited by the Gaza war, descended into full-scale war in September when Israel went on the offensive, targeting wide areas of Lebanon with airstrikes and sending troops into the south. The Israeli offensive has uprooted more than 1 million people in Lebanon.
