LOS ANGELES – SWED Sessions, a new podcast from Snoop Dogg’s cannabis lifestyle brand SWED, dropped its first episode March 11. And who better to kick things off than the Doggfather?
Hosted by cannabis entrepreneur and educator Tammy Pettigrew — better known as The Cannabis Cutie — SWED Sessions offers an insightful and unfiltered exploration of cannabis culture, music, and influential voices shaping the industry today. Kicking off episode one, Snoop, who is also executive producer, reveals secrets never before shared: When did he first spark up? Who’s on his list of top stoners of all time? Who’s the most famous person he ever lit up with? And, of course, his top five basketball players ever.
Pettigrew, who previously co-hosted the Lasagna Ganja podcast with Xzibit and hosted Ladies Love the NFL, is passionate about elevating cannabis entrepreneurship and breaking down outdated stigmas surrounding the plant.
“I’m honored to create a platform that amplifies voices in the cannabis industry, from legacy pioneers to rising entrepreneurs,” said Pettigrew. “SWED Sessions is about education, empowerment, and shifting the narrative around cannabis through authentic conversations with some of the most influential people in the space.”
New episodes will drop every other Monday, filmed on location at some of the most iconic cannabis-friendly spots, including The Woods, Woody Harrelson’s consumption lounge, and other legendary destinations. Upcoming guests include some of the biggest names in entertainment, sports, and the cannabis world.
