Max Air to airlift Jigawa pilgrims for 2025 Hajj

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria has appointed Max Air as the designated airline for airlifting Jigawa State pilgrims to Saudi Arabia for the 2025 Hajj.

This decision was confirmed by the Director General of the Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Ahmed Labbo, in a statement on Thursday in Dutse, the state capital through the Public Relations Officer of the Board, Habibu Babura.

According to Labbo, the airlift of intending pilgrims from Nigeria to Saudi Arabia will commence in May 2025.

He expressed his satisfaction with the preparations, ensuring a smooth and comfortable journey for the pilgrims.

The Director General assured all that all necessary arrangements have been made, including the preparation of traveling bags and uniforms for the intending pilgrims, which are now ready for collection.

The DG reiterated the board’s commitment to providing a seamless experience for pilgrims at home and abroad.

Therefore, he attributed the selection of Max Air to NAHCON’s dedication to maintaining the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and comfort for all pilgrims.

Accordingly, Labbo thanked Governor Umar Namadi for his continued support and leadership, transforming the Pilgrim Welfare Board into a successful entity in Hajj operations.

He further explained that “as the 2025 Hajj approaches, the Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board remains focused on providing exceptional services to pilgrims, ensuring a memorable and spiritual experience.”

Furthermore, the DG hinted that the selection of Max Air for the journey is expected to yield positive results, building on the airline’s previous success in airlifting pilgrims.
