Israel’s president Isaac Herzog has called on Netanyahu’s government to back the Gaza ceasefire and hostage release deal that was announced on Wednesday. Herzog said the agreement was one of the ‘most difficult challenges we have known’ but added that he calls on the ‘the government of Israel to accept and approve the deal that will be presented to them, and to return our daughters and sons home’
