A Palestinian militant group said three of its leaders were killed in an Israeli attack on central Beirut early on Monday, in what would be the first time Israel’s military has struck the centre of Lebanon’s capital city since 2006. Videos from the scene showed ambulances and a crowd gathered under the building, where the strike appeared to have targeted an apartment building.
